Keeping in mind the need for inputs to deal with the next generation students, SA-MUDRA FOUNDATION has been working towards parent's capacity building. Campaign #lovelife especially concentrates on increasing happiness among youth and preventing depression and suicidal tendencies..on 13th July 2019, Bharathi Singh, founder conducted a special interactive session on ' New Age Parenting' for around 500 parents of around 400 students at Sheshadripuram College, Mysore. Most parents were highly beneficial.

Workshop was organized on 19th January in SA-MUDRA FOUNDATION on Stress and Anxiety Management for Students and Parents. We had a positive response with both and parents attending the workshop. The objective of the workshop is to provide understanding of the various triggers that causes stress in our lives and how to overcome them by changing our lifestyle. The session went to explain few tips to overcome stress, anxiety and a small demonstration to experience the calming effect of meditation was exhibited. 2 month certification courses on personality and career development for - unemployed and or under privileged youth. SA-MUDRA conducts in house wellness therapies, life skills and livelihood skills training to unemployed, under employed, college drop-out young men and women aged between 17 and 35 years. The emphasis is on integrated personality development, boosting confidence, effective communication skills and improved interpersonal relationship. Employable skills like basics in computer, functional English, telephone etiquette, team dynamics, customer service, job oriented skills, office administration are also conducted for the unemployed from the poorer sections, thus enabling them to be self-reliant, build positive personalities and promoting dignified livelihood.

Saanthwana - Samalochana Counseling and Guidance

Yuva helpline(YHL) response centre acts as a first respondent to reach out to youth in crisis. YHL is handled by a panel of trained counsellors who provide counselling and guidance, personal therapeutic interactions and continued guidance to adolescents on issues like depressions, stress, fear, addictions, relationship conflicts, suicidal tendencies, self-image, career confusions, educational doubts, besides examination- oriented guidance during SSLC and PUC exams to both students and parents. YHL offers both telephonic and face to face counselling through centers. YHL's specialisation is to offer career counselling based on psychometric assessment tools. Parents are counselled on positive parenting. SA-MUDRA Yuva Helpline which has been supported by the Department of Youth and Sports, has positively impacted the lives of around 1,34,000+ people (youth, students, parents, teachers, NGO’s, Colleges and corporate) since 2008
